How do I create a room?

Once you have assigned a name to your device, each device must first be assigned to the room in which it is located. Each device can only be assigned to one room. You can choose from a number of predefined rooms or create a new room with your own name. Creating rooms allows you to control all the devices in them at the same time and also makes it much easier to update the device firmware, as one room at a time can be updated from the smartphone/tablet.

When creating a new network, all existing rooms can be selected from a list. At the bottom of the list is a button that can be used to create customised rooms. Additional rooms can also be created after a network has been created. To do this, navigate to 'Settings > Network settings > Rooms'.
