Bluetooth® Mesh Compatibility

Häfele Connect Mesh devices rely on the official standard Bluetooth® Mesh which has been certified by the Bluetooth® SIG. Many other device manufacturers (e.g. JUNG, Steinel, Ledvance) are increasingly adopting this standard. Bluetooth® Mesh devices from other manufacturers must first be tested by the Connect Mesh team and integrated into the app. This ensures that devices function properly.

Bluetooth® “Mesh” devices without SIG certification

There are many devices on the market that claim to be Bluetooth® Mesh capable, but do not adhere to the official standard. These devices are not compatible. A sign that a device is not compatible is if the device does not show up in the list when searching for new devices.

Bluetooth® Mesh Consortium

The Bluetooth® Mesh consortium (www.blue-mesh.de) was founded by the companies Häfele, Nimbus, Jung and Steinel, with the goal of strengthening the Bluetooth® Mesh standard in building networking and ensuring compatibility with each other.
