How do I configure a Mesh Box?

After successfully adding a device to the Mesh network, some devices must first be configured. A good example of this is the Connect Mesh 6-way distributor (Mesh Box), to whose ports a variety of different lights, actuators and sensors can be connected.

Sensors and kinetic switches

You can optionally configure sensors or enable the pairing of Kinetic Switches. If no sensor needs to be configured or a Kinetic switch linked, simply continue with the configuration.

Configure ports

Initially, all six actuator connections of the Mesh Box are unassigned. You can now press the available end devices one after the other. Each end device occupies a certain number of required connections (e.g. monochrome light requires one port, tunable lights require two ports, etc.). The respective cables must also be connected according to this assignment. You can also select a free port at the top before selecting the connected device type to choose its position manually.

Edit configuration

If you have made a mistake, you can move a device by dragging it to another port or click on a connection at any time and delete the end device at this point with the 'X'. You can use the 'Reset' button to remove all assignments at once.
