Mesh Box Sensors

Certain versions of Mesh Boxes are equipped with a sensor port. This can be activated and configured during setup via the app. The sensor can be used to control both individual devices and Mesh groups. A sensor does not necessarily have to control the ports of the same Mesh Box. The following three types of sensors are supported:

• Switch: Toggles between on and off with a short actuation
• Dimmer: Allows dimming up or down when held. Toggles between on and off with short actuation
• Motion detector: Turns on when motion is detected and turns off after a certain time without detected motion. The follow-up time is permanently set in the sensor and cannot be changed via the app (Note: newer sensors support both the switch and dimmer modes and must first be set to the correct mode via DIP switch)

Multiple motion sensors should not be used in the same group as this can trigger unpredictable switching behavior.
