Motion Sensor
The Connect Mesh motion sensor is available in three variants:
- With 12V power supply
- With 24V power supply
- Battery-operated
All variants are equipped with a PIR motion sensor and a brightness sensor. Many parameters such as follow-up time, switch-on delay, fading duration, minimum switch-on brightness etc. can be configured via the app.
Multiple motion sensors should not be used in the same group, as this can trigger unpredictable switching behavior.
Wake-up device
The battery-powered version of the Motion Sensor goes to sleep to save energy. Sometimes, you need to switch the device on from energy-saving mode to connect to the app. There are two ways to wake up the device:
1. Re-insert the battery
When you add the device to the network, put the battery in the battery compartment. The device will start blinking slowly to show that it is ready to be added. After 30 seconds of waiting to pair, the device switches to energy-saving mode. If this happens, please follow the instructions in the app and remove and put the battery back in to connect to it.
2. Press the reset button
Once the device has been successfully added to the network, you have to wake it up every time you want to change the motion sensor settings. To wake it up, press the reset button on the back for a few seconds. This only works once the device has been added to the network. If you press the short button, Easy Pairing mode will start. You will see this because the LED will blink quickly.
