Mesh Box Sensors

Certain versions of Mesh Boxes are equipped with a sensor port. This can be activated and configured during setup via the app. The sensor can be used to control both individual devices and Mesh groups. A sensor does not necessarily have to control the ports of the same Mesh Box. The following three types of sensors can be configured:

• Switch: Toggles between on and off with a short actuation
• Dimmer: Allows dimming up or down when held. Toggles between on and off with short actuation
• Motion detector: Turns on when motion is detected and turns off after a certain time without detected motion. The follow-up time is permanently set in the sensor and cannot be changed via the app (Note: newer sensors support both the switch and dimmer modes and must first be set to the correct mode via DIP switch) Note: Multiple motion sensors should not be used in the same group as this can trigger unpredictable switching behavior.
